Delete your account

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Who this is for

This page is for anyone with an account in Seiton, the home inventory app. It explains how to delete that account and the data synced under it, either from inside the app or, if you no longer have the app, by email.

Delete it from the app

It takes a few taps:

  1. 1

    Open Settings.

  2. 2

    Tap Profile.

  3. 3

    Tap Delete account.

  4. 4

Read what will be removed, then tap Delete account again to confirm.

If other people are still in your home, the app stops and says so: remove them from Settings > Family first, then delete your account.

Using the app in Spanish? The same steps read Ajustes, Perfil and Eliminar cuenta.

Ask us without the app

No longer have the app, or cannot open it? Write to contact@seiton.im and ask for your account to be deleted:

  • •

Send it from the email address you sign in with. If you sign in with a phone number, include that number instead.

  • •

We check that the request comes from the account's owner, delete the account just as the button in the app would, and reply once it is done.

An account that was never given an email address or a phone number has nothing we can match a request to, so it can only be deleted from inside the app.

What is deleted

  • •

    Your account and its sign-in.

  • •

The home synced under it: its places, its items, their photos and every stored file.

  • •

A Premium subscription billed through Seiton, which is cancelled.

Deletion cannot be undone. What we hold for the account is removed from our systems within 30 days.

Want to keep the account and remove only some of it? Items and photos can be deleted one by one from inside the app, and the matching data leaves our systems within that same 30 days.

What is not deleted

  • •

A subscription bought in Google Play or the App Store: that store is the only place that can end it, so cancel it there. On Android that is Google Play subscriptions.

  • •

The places and items already on your device, which stay until you remove the app.

  • •

Payment records Stripe keeps for as long as its service and the law require, and photos sent over for a description, which follow Anthropic's own terms.

The Privacy Policy covers the rest of how your data is looked after.
